Pokémon Yellow

Pokémon Yellow is a Pikachu version and and he is the only available Pokémon to start with! It is a third-person perspective. Pikachu has both a voice and a personality unique from other Pokémon.

While it initially has an indifferent opinion of the player, it can grow to love or hate him based on the player's actions; leveling up will keep Pikachu happy, while fainting frequently will make it unhappy.

Pokémon Sapphire

The player starts their journey in Littleroot Town, where the family has just moved in from the Johto region after the player's father, Norman, became the leader of the Petalburg Gym. The story starts off with the player in a moving van, which arrives in Littleroot.

Pokémon Emerald

Players control a Pokémon trainer, whose general goal is to traverse the Hoenn region and conquer a series of eight Pokémon gyms in order to challenge the Elite Four and its champion. Players capture creatures called Pokémon along the way using Poké Balls and use them to fight other trainers' Pokémon.

Certain battles allow for two-on-two combat; certain moves were designed to support partners while other moves are capable of attacking two or more Pokémon.
